Paris 1914. Marie Benjamin, a young seamstress, has been imprisoned for stealing silk remnants. This is where Gabriel, the prison’s psychiatrist, meets her. He is fascinated to learn of the strange and sensual realation she has to this material. The two completely different persons become attracted towards each other and, despite the obstacles, they seek to establish a relationship of love.
